A gateway concept for practical work

QuickIoT Box

A gateway can connect suitable local sensors or equipment to an agreed data flow—so people can review useful information and decide what to do next.

The same QuickIoT foundation and shared onboarding apply across different assignments. We agree the question and scope first, then select suitable sensors, equipment and connections. A local gateway brings the signals together when needed. People review the information, take action and follow up.

Plan a first assignment

Example: cold-storage test

Follow temperature in a selected cold room. Agree the sensor, test period, record and who checks an unusual reading.

Start with cold storage

Example: plastic tooling

Connect measurements, identity and position to the right tool. Check available usage or temperature signals and agree inspection and maintenance follow-up.

Start with tooling

Example: golf

Use local soil moisture or temperature readings as information for course maintenance. Agree measurement points, source access and the course team's next check.

01

Start with the question

Set the place, signal and decision to support—whether that is a cold-storage temperature, a tooling measurement or position check, or a golf-course reading.

02

Agree what is useful

Confirm the available source and access, what the customer view or record should show, and who reviews it.

03

Follow up together

Review the agreed test and decide whether another measurement, a connection or a wider scope is useful.

QuickIoT Box is a concept, not a fixed hardware kit. Equipment is selected after the test and site requirements are understood.

Connections are not all the same

Some data never needs a Box.

Existing cloud platforms or business systems may connect directly. Satellite inputs and a future campaign proposal do not have to pass through a physical gateway.

Verified support today

Selected Teltonika GPS models have model-dependent support through the existing platform. This is separate from a physical gateway and does not establish compatibility for other equipment.

Agree the scope

A clear base. Tailored extras.

Base scope, agreed for the case

Define the question, confirm data source and access, agree the customer view or output, and document the test and follow-up.

Only add what the task needs

Mounting, suitable sensors, gateway selection, on-site work, system connection and ongoing support are evaluated separately and included only by agreement.
